2021 High School Course Registration Update

Dear 8th Grade Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

This is a very exciting time of year for our 8th grade students as we begin high school course registration!  Please review the following information to assist with high school planning.  Multiple resources are available to you during this time.  

Review all information provided below including the timeline.  Course requests can be entered 12/23/20-1/15/20.  Please note, it is not first come, first serve.  Take your time through this process and explore all possible pathways.

FLEX TIME VIDEOS

Please be sure your student attends FLEX time on Monday 12/14/20 & 12/21/20.  Videos will be shared at this time to assist with the high school course registration process.

  • 12/14/20- High School 101 Video (Understanding HS credits, GPA, etc.) & Marriotts Ridge High School Video
  • 12/21/20- HS Course Registration Video (How to select courses and enter in your student synergy account)
  • Videos will be posted on the Student Services Canvas Page when available.

COUNSELOR CORNER & PARENT OFFICE HOURS

Mrs. Marton will be offering a COUNSELOR CORNER on multiple dates to answer student questions.

  • Counselor Corner Meet Code: MVMS-pmarton-cc
  • 12/16/20: 11:30-12
  • 12/23/20: 10-11:30

*Special Guests from MRHS  will be attending select January dates.  Counselor Corner will begin at 11:30 in January and end when all questions have been answered. 

  • 1/4/20: 11:30 
  • 1/5/20: 11:30
  • 1/7/20: 11:30
  • 1/8/20: 11:30

PARENT OFFICE HOURS will be offered on 1/6/20

  • Meet Code MVMS-pmarton-office (please use student HCPSS credentials to log on to office hours).
  • Parents with a student last name A-L  6-7 pm
  • Parents with a student last name  M-Z  7-8 pm
