HCPSS Course Registration 24-25

Course registration will open on February 1, and close on February 14 at 4 p.m. School Counselors will meet with your 6th and 7th graders in the coming weeks to thoroughly explain their course options for the upcoming school year.

We understand the importance of involving you in this process. Various virtual meeting options are available for parents/guardians to view the presentation and actively participate in Q&A sessions to facilitate this.

Below you will find a schedule and all the Google Meet codes for your convenience. These resources can be accessed on your child's student resources page on Canvas.

To streamline your experience, we recommend visiting the Course Registration Information website. This comprehensive resource contains all the details covered in the presentations, including additional helpful videos. Simply click on the HOME dropdown for quick access to links on registration, slideshow presentations, the Course Placement Review Process, and the Registration timeline. The HOME button is located in the UPPER RIGHT Corner of the page. Additionally, you can access the Middle School catalog by clicking on the blue bar in the center of the page.

2/1 - 2/14 Course Registration Window

Students and parents will review course recommendations, make additional course selections, and submit CPR as needed. Entry is NOT first come, first served.  Please take your time! The window closes on 2/14.

  1. Log into Synergy,
  2. Select Course Request from the left panel
  3. Follow the directions in this online guide.
  4. Parents/guardians may view course recommendations by logging into HCPSS Connect Synergy but cannot add course requests; this must be completed through the student’s account.
  5. Review course selections, descriptions, and prerequisites in the Catalog of Approved Middle School Courses.
