Denise Adams, MS, NCC, LCPC, retired from the Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) after 18 years, including 5 years as a special educator and 13 years as a school counselor. She has extensive experience working with kids and families of middle school age. Denise also spent a decade on the HCPSS county crisis team and served as a hospital advocate for victims of sexual assault and intimate partner violence (IPV) through Hopeworks. Denise also works with NFRC helping families with co-parenting and reunification. She now practices in Howard County and is a clinical supervisor fornewly licensed therapists, guiding the next generation of mental health professionals.
