Since the start of outdoor dining, we have seen an increase in the amount of debris and trash left on the blacktop and surrounding campus and community. We are reminding students to pick up all trash, wrappers, broken mask, etc…when they have finished eating. It is all of our responsibility to keep our campus and community clean.
The MVMS admin team would like to remind our falcons that one breakfast and one lunch are provided by Federal Government and HCPSS at no cost to all students. Recently, we have seen an increase in students asking friends to give them their school lunch if they have a bag lunch from home. The program guidelines state "one lunch per student." We have a lot of growing Falcons who bring a bag lunch and receive a school lunch, which is allowed. Falcons can not give their lunch to a friend for the friend to have an additional free lunch. Please consider packing a snack or additional lunch for your Falcon if they are expressing they are still hungry. Food and Nutrition Services - HCPSS
