The Clothing To Cash campaign is an easy way for you to get rid of unwanted clothing, textiles, and shoes AND help the PTA earn money. Every pound of clothing that is collected becomes a monetary donation to the PTA, and the 3 schools in the county which collect the most pounds each month earn bonus money. Please help us be a winner for January!
What happens to the items you donate? The Clothing To Cash company sorts the reusable clothes from the ratty ones. Reusable clothing goes to non-profit organizations, and worn out clothing gets recycled into new materials! This helps Mount View continue its efforts to be a Green School and to minimize its waste.
No matter what condition the clothes are in…. they are ALL acceptable!
ALL unwanted items including clothing, shoes, towels, tablecloths, pillows, stuffed animals, etc.
ALL conditions - because clothing and textiles should never be considered garbage.
SO…. Please take a moment to clean out your closets, bag up all of your old clothes, and drop them off in the white bin in the bus loop at Mount View! (Donated clothes MUST be tied up in a plastic bag. Bin is available for your use 24/7!)
