One of the tools that we use to help make sure that we are meeting the needs of all of our students is the MAP assessment.  All students took this assessment in both ELA and math in the fall of this year.  Based on the data from the fall, select students took the mid year MAP assessment this winter.  Some students took both math and ELA assessments, some took only one assessment and some students did not take either assessment.  Teachers and staff used the data from the fall in order to select the students for the mid year assessment.  For those students that took one or both assessments this winter, the results were sent home today or will be sent home  on Wednesday, 2/22/17.

In order to assess progress for all students, every student will take the MAP assessment in both ELA and math this spring.  The administration of the spring MAP assessment will be in May and June (this is separate from the PARCC assessment which is also in the spring).  If you have any questions please email Ms. Kim Hess.
