Back-to-School Night Schedule

  • Related Arts  Art, FACS, Health, General Music, PE, TechEd, and Reading Seminar will meet in the Cafeteria.  Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Innovative & Inquiry, and World Language classes will meet in assigned classrooms.  Student schedules include two periods for Related Arts classes.  Most Related Arts classes meet every other day using the A-day/B-day schedule.  World Language for 7th and 8th grade, Band, Orchestra, and Chorus classes meet daily.   
  • Student Schedules: Parents are encouraged to bring their child's agenda book with the Student Schedule (pg.9) completed.   School maps and 1 printed schedule per student will be available for pickup as parents enter the building.  You can also log into HCPSS Connect to access your child’s schedule and print another copy (or bookmark it on your smart phone!).  
  • It’s always a good idea to arrive a little early for parking.  There is plenty of parking at Marriotts Ridge High School; parking is not allowed along Woodford Drive and could result in cars being ticketed. 
  • We respectfully ask for your understanding that this is not the time for one-on-one conferences with staff members.  If you have a concern, please feel free to contact the teacher directly via email or by calling the school.  The program for Back to School Night is geared specifically for parents, so we recommend that students remain at home.  If you do need to bring your student with you, please be sure to have them remain with you during the entire program
