Family Fun Restaurant Night at Pie Five!

Dine In or Take Out!  
Just mention our school when placing your order so our school can receive the credit!
Proceeds from this event will support the MVMS PTA Community Outreach efforts!

MVMS Volunteers needed for 2017-2018!  

A lot of volunteers are moving onto the high school and the PTA needs your support! Volunteering is a great way to learn more about the PTA and meet new people in your school community.  If you have an interest in joining a committee or just want to learn more, please contact: Theresa Yodzis, Suzanne Cwalina or Natalie Croston.

Community Outreach Animal Shelter Drive

Update:Thank you to all the families that made a contribution for the Animal Shelter collection.  If you want to send in something it's not too late. We will take donations up to Friday, May 12th.

The Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center is the county's animal shelter and is a division of the Howard County Police Department. They are a government agency dedicated to enforcing animal control laws, promoting the humane treatment of animals, providing adoption services, discounted spay/neuter services, and educating the public on animal issues. They handle between four and five thousand animals a year.  Collection Ends - Friday, April 28th

How Can I Help?

The Howard County Animal Shelter is accepting donations for the following items:
  • Dog toys and rawhide bones (new) ALL sizes (high demand for this item)
  • Cat toys (nothing with catnip - new)
  • Small rugs with rubber on the back (used is okay but must be in good condition)
  • Paper bags
  • Canned dog and cat food (high demand for this item)
  • Plastic Kitty litter pans (no covers necessary)
  • Small Animal Supplies - the shelter prefers a gift card for since the needs vary
  • Grooming Supplies - Oster clipper blades (A5)
  • Dog and cat shampoo
  • Cleaning Supplies- laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, brooms, dustpans, air fresheners, paper towels
  • Medical Supplies- rubbing alcohol, digital thermometers, sterile pads and tape
  • Batteries: AA, AAA, and 9 volt
