MVMS was well represented at the Maryland Mathalon held October 31st at Meade Middle School in Anne Arundel County.  Six school teams consisting of four students each participated in three rounds -- the Individual Written Round, the Inventions Round, and the Team Round.  Middle schools from all over Maryland attended.  Our student teams did very well and we are proud of their efforts in this first year of participating.  Thank you Ms. Bassolino and Ms. Sorenson for organizing and advising the after school Math Club.
