What: The winter MAP administration.  This is the second round of the test that students took in the fall.  

When: ELA: 2/6 - 2/8, Math: 2/13 - 2/15 (The test is untimed, so length of testing may be different in each class)

Why: The goal is for each student to show growth and to progress towards the College and Career Readiness standards. The data from this assessment is used by teachers to plan lessons and/or interventions.  This data is also used to influence educational decisions for individuals and groups of students.

Where: In math and ELA classes

Who: All students will take MAP Reading, All 6th graders will take MAP Math, All 7th grade students in Math 7 or Math 8 will take MAP math and All 8th graders in Math 8 or Algebra will take MAP math.

Testing reminders:
-Please be present in school each day of testing.  When possible, avoid these dates for appointments.
-Get a good night's sleep.
-Eat a healthy breakfast and/or lunch.
-Remind students to try their best and to take their time.
