October is Bullying Awareness Month

We know bullying can be prevented when we come together as a school community. We all belong here at Mount View! We will continue to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion this October (and always!) as we highlight Bullying Awareness Month. We see positive change as we continue to emphasize respect and inclusion. Our Falcons are fabulous!

We will highlight National Stop Bullying Day on October 13, 2021, by wearing the color blue!

This day brings us together as a school community and reminds us that we can put an end to bullying. Stay tuned for more activities and resources throughout the month!
Please see the attached article for more information regarding bullying in general. As always, please feel free to contact your child's counselor with any questions or concerns.

Common Views and Myths about Bullying

PTA Reflections Program

It's that time of year again.  Football is being played, pumpkins are everywhere you look, and the REFLECTIONS ARTS CONTEST is on the horizon.  The MVMS PTA is once again excited to celebrate the arts and encourage our students to get to drawing, painting, writing, and engaging in all things creative.

This year, students will submit entries that capture the 2021 theme, "I Will Change the World By ..." in categories that include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts.   As in years past, the top 3 entries in each category will receive an award as well as have their entry passed along to the county-wide competition.

Anyone interested in participating can pick up an Entry Form, Instructions, and Contest Guidelines from the Front Office beginning Monday, October 4th.  The deadline for entries will be Friday, November 12th.  We are truly looking forward to seeing what our Mount View Student Community will deliver!
