Partnerships

The HCPSS Educational Partnerships 2020-2021 Annual Report has just been released. Each school’s partners are listed, as well as system-wide (at-large), curricular, and program office partnerships. The report demonstrates how partners work to make Howard County a thriving community that cares for all of its members.

Heritage Speaker Testing

The Office of World Languages will be testing our Heritage Speakers of Spanish to establish high school placement on 11/8/2021. Here is a flyer in Spanish with more information about the assessment.

Join Us for a FREE Zoom Program "Resilient You- Taking Care of Yourself During Stressful Times"

  • Hosted by: The National Family Resiliency Center, Inc.
  • Date:  Wednesday, September 29, 2021
  • Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Hey, Kids and Teens ages 11 - 18!  Have you been stressed because of all the changes related to the pandemic? Has it been hard getting back to in-person school, talking to friends with masks on, and completing your schoolwork? Well, if this sounds like something you’ve experienced, then this interactive program is for you.
Risa Garon, LCSW-C, BCD, CFLE, Pam Blackwell, M.Ed., LCPC, Carolyn Wohnsigl, M.Ed., are hosting a ‘wellness presentation’ and will share information with you, your parents, or caregivers. These counselors and a special panel of kids your age will discuss how you can change what you think, how you behave and feel. This program will also help you learn how to feel less stressed and be more resilient.
We will learn how to ‘smash those ANTS (automatic negative thoughts)’ and ‘grow those mindsets’ to be happier, healthier, and empowered to do more of what you like to do regardless of what’s happening as a result of the Delta variant or other challenges that may come your way.
Click here to register: info.nfrchelp@gmail.com. When you register via the above email, please tell us:
