SCHOOL MEDICATION DROP OFF:

Student medications may be dropped off in the Health Room beginning the week of Monday, August 26th from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm.  There will be no one available to receive medications on Wednesday, August 28th which is a county-wide Professional Learning Day.  Please remember each medication needs to have a completed medication order form dated after July 1st, 2019 and must be signed by both doctor and parent.  Medication order forms may be found on the HCPSS website.  Prescription medications must match the doctor's order and pharmacy label.  Over-the-counter medications must be new, sealed and labeled with your student's name.  Please contact the Health Room directly at 410-313-5550 starting August 26th with any further questions.  

7th - 12th GRADE IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS:

All 7th-12th-grade students are required by the State of Maryland to have one Tdap & one MCV4 vaccination.  If the health room does not have a record of these two vaccines for your 7th or 8th-grade student, the health room will contact you prior to the start of the school year to obtain updated immunization documentation.  Your student will not be able to start school on Tuesday, September 3rd without proof of these vaccinations.  Please feel free to email the school cluster nurse over the summer with any questions at leslie_williams@hcpss.org.  Thank you!
