Welcome Letter

August 3, 2016

To the Mount View Middle School Community,

It is with tremendous excitement that I write to you today as the newly appointed principal of Mount View Middle School.  I am honored to be your principal and I look forward to serving the community and working to maintain the proud academic tradition of Mount View.  I will work diligently to fulfill the Mount View vision of ensuring academic excellence in a safe, innovative environment that respects diversity and prepares students for lifelong learning.

As a graduate of Howard County schools and a lifelong resident, I understand the importance and value placed upon education by our community.  I have worked in the Howard County Public School System since 1998.  Most recently, I was the assistant principal of Oakland Mills High School.  I believe that the foundation of a great school is great teachers.  It will be my mission to ensure our children have the best teachers and high quality instruction.  Together we will strive each and every day to ensure that all students receive the best education possible.

Please strengthen our community partnership by joining the Mount View PTA (http://mvmspta.yolasite.com/) and following the school on Twitter at @hcpss_mvms.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve the Mount View community as your principal. Feel free to contact me at allen_cosentino@hcpss.org or at 410-313-5545 if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Allen Cosentino

Principal
